Something about the elements. It draws me in, makes me feel contemplative. I usually feel very connected, and spiritual, especially around fires and water.
This is a campfire my older DD talked my FIL into making on night when we were up recently. The burning embers just called to me. TFL!

I feel the same way around fire and water. It is a very humbling feeling. Nice capture.
Campfires have a special meaning to me, too. We always had devotions around the campfire at summer camp. Nice memories.
