I'm sorry I fell off the face of the planet...computer woes and crazy time of the year. Anyway- this was taken this weekend when my adorable cousin was visiting. The angle is awkward, but I love her funny expression and her beautiful face. She was taking in a request by little dd...This was taken with my 50mm. I just couldn't bring my new lens to the community pool! 1/400, 5.6, 200 ISO. I had to increase my exposure in ACR, ran defog and sharpened.

The exposure is right one and the angle is fun! Her expression in this one calls for something a bit different and you caught it perfectly. Those eyes match the pool, so you're really drawn in. So glad to see you back, been missing you around here.
I think the angle works because she's not looking into the camera, its obvious that her attention is elsewhere. My only cc would be to smooth the lines in the forehead out some.

I like it, I'm a huge fan of angles I think the exposure is fine. Very nice shot!
